Ladue is home to several fine country clubs with excellent golf courses. On the north side of the I-64, St. Louis Country Club is a prestigious and historic club that has been recognized by the USGA as one of the first 100 country clubs in the United States. Since it opened in 1892, St. Louis Country Club has hosted major tournaments, including the 1947 U.S. Open and the 2014 USGA Curtis Cup Match.
The Bogey Golf Club is an exclusive club that only offers membership by invitation. Some of Saint Louis’ most prominent corporate and civic leaders enjoy access to an exceptional golf course here, which was originally designed by Robert Foulis in 1911 then redesigned by Roger Null in 2014.
South of I-64, Old Warson Country Club is another favorite of the Saint Louis elite - with a golf course designed in the 1950s by legendary architect Robert Trent Jones. Major tournaments held at Old Warson Country Club include the 1971 Ryder Cup and the 2016 United States Senior Men’s Amateur Golf Championship.
